Meet the Founder & CEO
About the Founder
Lynn Coupal founded Item Orchard LLC in 2019 with a vision to transform educational content through innovative technology. With over 15 years of experience in educational publishing, curriculum development, and assessment design, Lynn identified the need for more powerful tools to visualize and manage educational content relationships.
Her work has focused on developing platforms that make standards alignment, content mapping, and learning progressions more visible and actionable for educational publishers, schools, and districts. Under her leadership, Item Orchard has grown to serve educational organizations across North America, helping them leverage the power of knowledge graphs and AI to improve curriculum design and content delivery.
Lynn holds a nanodegree in Machine Learning, a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, and undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Mathematics Education. She is passionate about the intersection of learning science, data visualization, and artificial intelligence in education.
